In this session, Dr. Michael Clamann will discuss the Federal guidance as outlined in the Vision for Safety, especially as the various elements therein – including sensing technologies and certification – related to transportation safety. By highlighting these links, Dr. Clamann will highlight greater needs for research and guidance from the Federal government.
